looking for a smart, enthusiastic, and self-driven individual to join our team as a Senior Back-End Python Developer.

Role Overview: 

As a Senior Python Backend Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and  maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems based on our proprietary  QED technology platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend  developers, designers, and product managers to deliver world-class software solutions. Your  expertise in Python, backend development frameworks, and best practices will be instrumental  in driving the success of our products. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and deploying backend systems using Python and our QED platform  technology to support our software applications. 
  • Collaborating with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to understand  requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure seamless integration between frontend  and backend components. 
  • Developing scalable and efficient APIs and web services for data retrieval, processing, and  storage. 
  • Optimizing application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, implementing  caching mechanisms, and enhancing database queries. 
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices and coding  standards. 
  • Conducting code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to architectural  guidelines. 
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, identifying and implementing appropriate  solutions. 
  • Mentoring and providing guidance to junior developers, sharing knowledge and best practices  to foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. 
  • Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential  impact on our products and recommending relevant adoption. 
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and  methodologies to enhance productivity and efficiency. 

Key Attributes:

  • 3  years minimum of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience as a backend developer, with a strong focus on Python development. 
  • Extensive knowledge of Python and its ecosystem, including proficiency in relevant frameworks  such as Django or Flask. 
  • Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services. 
  • Strong database skills with expertise in SQL and ORM tools. 
  • Proficiency in version control systems, preferably Git. 
  • Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, VueJS) and their integration with  backend systems. 
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and deploying applications to cloud environments. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills with a keen attention to detail. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior developers. 
  • Continuous learning mindset with a passion for staying up-to-date with emerging technologies  and industry trends. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
