Job Title: Legal Documentation Analyst / VA

Salary Range: P30-P40k (depending on skills and experience)

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm PH time

We are looking for a smart and goal-oriented individual who will join our team as a Legal Documentation Analyst. 

The Legal Document Analyst is responsible for enhancing the firm’s document management and legal analysis capabilities. This role involves meticulously analyzing client instructions, drafting various legal agreements, reviewing legal titles and council reports, and assessing potential risks from a legal perspective. The goal is to ensure the firm’s legal documents to be sent out to clients are precise, compliant, and effectively mitigate risks, thereby safeguarding the firm’s integrity and clients’ interests. In this role, you will receive the precedents used by the firm along with the documents to review or client instructions and will then be responsible for these being put together in a timely manner to an efficient standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysing Client Instructions: Understand and interpret instructions from clients, ensuring all necessary information is obtained to proceed with legal tasks.
  • Drafting Legal Documents: Utilize firm-provided precedents to draft various agreements including Relationship agreements, Wills, and Enduring Powers of Attorney within set timeframes.
  • Document Review: Conduct thorough reviews of legal titles to land and council reports, accurately inputting data into word documents for lawyer review.
  • Risk Assessment: Analyze potential risks to clients from a legal perspective, providing insightful and constructive feedback to lawyers.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all legal documents and analyses adhere to the highest standards of accuracy, clarity, and compliance with legal norms.
  • Assist with emails as may be required
  • Completing other tasks as may be required to ensure smooth running of the firm
  • Social media creation of posts

Key Attributes Required:

  • Excellent English Proficiency: Strong command over written and verbal English to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex documents and instructions, identifying key information and potential issues.
  • Legal Background: A solid understanding of legal terminologies, practices, and document structures to perform accurate drafting and reviews.
  • Initiative and Free Thinking: Capacity to use initiative in analyzing, interpreting, and considering risks, contributing to the firm’s proactive legal approach.
  • Relevant work experience: Capacity to provide a high level of of insight and expertise in legal matters.
  • A degree in law or related field would be an advantage
  • Additional certifications or courses in legal analysis, document drafting, or risk management are desirable.
