Job Title: Management Accountant

Salary Range: P60,000-80,000

Working hours: Monday to Friday

Work Schedule: 6:00 am – 2:30pm PHT

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Consolidation

• Lead month-end processes across multiple entities
• Extract and consolidate financial data (primarily from Xero) into structured reporting
• Maintain group-level financial workbooks and consolidation models in Excel
• Deliver clear, concise management reports with actionable insights, not just data

Variance Analysis & Performance Monitoring

• Identify and explain key variances across business units
• Conduct deep dives into underperforming areas and highlight risks or inefficiencies
• Provide real-time financial insights, not just retrospective reporting

Data Integrity & Financial Control

• Identify unreconciled accounts, inconsistencies, and missing inputs
• Ensure accurate financial coding and consistency across all entities
• Monitor compliance of subsidiary teams in maintaining clean financial data
• Take ownership of data accuracy across the group

Power BI & Data Visibility

• Support implementation, validation, and ongoing management of Power BI reporting
• Investigate and resolve data mismatches between systems
• Build and maintain dashboards that provide daily visibility of financial performance

Systems & Process Improvement

• Contribute to system evaluations and improvements (including potential Odoo migration)
• Review and improve financial processes to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Support the standardisation of reporting and systems across the group

Ad Hoc Financial Support

• Respond to CFO and management queries with clear, well-researched answers
• Deliver concise summaries such as:
  “Here’s what’s happening, here’s what matters, and here’s what to do next.”
• Balance business-as-usual reporting with project-based analytical work

Experience & Technical Skills

• 4–6 years’ experience in a Management Accounting or similar analytical role
• Strong Excel capability, comfortable working with large datasets, consolidations, and workpapers
• Proven experience in:
• Month-end reporting
• Financial consolidation
• Variance analysis
• Management reporting
• Experience with Xero (essential)
• Exposure to Power BI, or a strong willingness to learn
• Bonus: Experience with Odoo or system migrations
• Highly detail-oriented, with an audit-like mindset
• Naturally curious and investigative, enjoys digging into numbers
• Data-driven, not reliant on assumptions
• Works independently with minimal supervision
• Takes initiative and ownership without needing direction
• Prefers deep, focused work over meetings
• Comfortable handling both repetitive core processes and complex problem-solving
