Salary Range: P25-35k

Working hours: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm 

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

 

Job Overview

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Scheduler/Planner to keep our projects running like clockwork! In this role, you’ll take charge of schedules and logistics, ensuring everything flows seamlessly from start to finish. If you have a strong grasp of scheduling and logistics and thrive on keeping things organised, this is your chance to make a real impact. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage the company’s general schedule to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct regular housekeeping of Microsoft Planner to keep schedules accurate, updated, and clearly communicated.
  • Input and manage data in logistics software for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Expedite supplier purchase orders and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to align schedules with operational needs.
  • Provide accurate reporting and updates to management on scheduling and logistics activities.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in scheduling, planning, or logistics coordination.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook); training available for Microsoft Planner.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with the mining and metals industry is an advantage.
  • Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks within strict timeframes.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
  • Ability to perform ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
