Job Title: Senior Estimator / Quantity Surveyor (Remote)
Salary Range: Php 50,000-70,000
Working hours: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm PHT
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team and support the successful delivery of interior construction projects across New Zealand.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical estimating expertise, commercial thinking, and project cost management. You will play a key role in preparing competitive tenders, managing project variations, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensuring a smooth transition from estimating through to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Quantity Take-Off & Estimating
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs from architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Review project documentation and identify risks, omissions, and cost impacts
- Develop material schedules and labour estimates
- Maintain accurate estimating and measurement records
Tender Preparation & Pricing
- Prepare competitive and accurate tender submissions for commercial and residential projects
- Develop pricing for:
- Steel stud framing
- GIB and plasterboard linings
- Stopping systems
- Painting packages
- Interior fit-out works
- Review tender requirements and scope documentation
- Identify value engineering opportunities
- Support tender clarifications and negotiations
Supplier & Commercial Management
- Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate pricing where appropriate
- Monitor project budgets and commercial performance
- Prepare and manage project variations
- Assist with progress claims and payment schedules
- Support project profitability and cost control initiatives
Project Handover
- Prepare complete handover documentation for awarded projects
- Ensure pricing assumptions, exclusions, supplier quotations, and project risks are properly documented
- Collaborate closely with project and operations teams for smooth project execution
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Estimating or Quantity Surveying
- Strong understanding of commercial and residential construction
- Proven experience preparing tenders and cost estimates
- Ability to interpret architectural and construction drawings
- Strong analytical and numerical capability
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred Experience
- Background in interior construction, fit-out, linings, plasterboard, ceilings, framing, or painting trades
- Exposure to New Zealand or Australian construction projects
- Experience using estimating software such as:
- CostX
- Bluebeam
- Cubit
- PlanSwift
- Buildxact
- or similar platforms
- Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, progress claims, and variation pricing
